Water Tank, Filtration and Water Chiller Servicing

Stored water is the part of a property people think about least and drink from most. In Qatar's heat, an uncleaned tank, a neglected filtration system and an unserviced water chiller all affect both the safety of the water and the comfort of using it.

Water tank and filtration system cleaning

  • Draining and full internal inspection
  • Removal of sediment and residue from base and walls
  • Scrubbing and washing of internal surfaces
  • Disinfection and rinse
  • Inspection of the lid, seals, vents and overflow for entry points
  • Float valve and level control check
  • Filtration system service: housings opened, cleaned and reassembled
  • Filter cartridge and media replacement
  • Inspection of inlet and outlet connections for leaks and bypass
  • Refill and completion report

Water chiller servicing

  • Condenser coil cleaning and fan check
  • Refrigerant pressure verification and leak inspection
  • Thermostat and control testing
  • Pipework and insulation inspection
  • Pump and connection check
  • Performance verification against set temperature

Why it matters

Sediment, biological growth and heat all accumulate in stored water. A tank that has never been opened can hold years of deposit, and a failing water chiller leaves the whole supply running warm through the summer. Both are straightforward to put right and easy to keep on a schedule once they are.

Recommended frequency

Tanks and their filtration systems should be cleaned and disinfected at least once a year, and more often for compounds and shared buildings. Water chillers should be serviced before summer.

Pricing note

Quoted by tank size and number of units. Compounds and multiple properties are quoted as a programme.

FAQ
How often should a water tank be cleaned?

At least once a year for a villa or apartment, and more often for compounds and shared buildings where usage is higher.

How do I know my tank needs cleaning?

Discoloured water, sediment in taps or filters, an unusual taste or smell, or simply not knowing when it was last done. If no one can tell you the date, it is due.

Why is my water warm even at night?

Either the water chiller has failed or it is struggling — commonly a fouled condenser coil, a refrigerant leak or a control fault. Tank insulation and exposure to direct sun also play a part, and we will tell you which applies.

Do you clean tanks for whole compounds?

Yes. Multiple tanks are quoted and scheduled as a programme rather than as individual jobs.
